Maybe since the others you mentioned were already here, and had good seasons last time, so continuity was expected? Whereas Wirtz is a newbie so maybe gets more benefit of the doubt?
Just guessing.
Anyway, my view is all of them have done less than might be expected this season, others too. As for Wirtz heās a good player and Iām sure thereās more to come.

I donāt know why Szobo keeps dropping between the RB and Konate and not tracking 2 runners into that channel. Fulham got space to do whatever they want there without any pressure. At least the other side Robbo stepped up a few times. Nyoni comes into play right wing?

Because Mo never tracks his full back so we always are overloaded down our right.
Also, if he has 2 runners which one does he track?
Yeah I know Salah is never there, but Szobo and JoGo did nothing either even with their supposed role of covering.
He just needed to start with one for JoGo to mark the other. As it was they both pedalled back until Fulham crossed in.
My point is that every time Fulham attacked we got 6 guys just standing there. Has been since earlier this season, so despite being happy with the win and the chance for top 4, I think nothing has changed until we have a coach who can organise out of possession shape and role.

Much better display. We really needed the three points and got them. Clean sheet, two lovely goals, Rio the star man.
Fulham had their moments, we werenāt perfect, but we got the job done today.
