Pre-match | Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest | PL (22/11/25 15:00 GMT)

2 week break.

Hoping we’ve sorted our heads out and this is the start of a good run of form.

Alternatively, we’ll conceed within 10mins…play shite and look like 11 strangers

Who knows what’s the state of individuals after international breaks + training, sometimes that also plays a part in these decisions.

Arne Slot has tried to make it better, tried to make them more creative, and they have lost that stability at the back.

Konate has not really looked himself, two new full-backs have come in and it’s not been that settled. Wirtz is not doing it at the top of the team and is now been played out on the wing. To lose five of six games, that is major.

hoping dom is midfield not right back

Liverpool haven’t really found that rhythm’published at 14:37 GMT

The most difficult thing in any sport is that when you win that title, to repeat that. Liverpool had a lot of new players coming in, a lot of change, and I just think that they haven’t really found that rhythm.

It’s terrible form from them, we didn’t expect that. At the start of the season they didn’t look right but they were getting the wins, but now they are not getting the results.

'Two steps forward and one step back’published at 14:39 GMT

John Bennett
BBC Final Score reporter at Anfield

In his programme notes today Arne Slot says the week before the international break was two steps forward and one step back, following the costly defeat to Manchester City. He also insists though that their “biggest issue” has been being on the wrong side of “small margins.”

The home fans behind me are expecting today to be the day when Alexander Isak finally finds his feet as a Liverpool player on only his 4th Premier League start for the club.

But Forest know all about how to frustrate Slot’s side and they could witness their team winning back to back league games at Anfield for the first time since 1963.

true story…have not looked right all season

in terms of quality of play, dont know what to expect. just hoping we win…

Have fun mate, wrap up well and enjoy.

This feels like a game where Isak should get his career going for us. He’s shown basically nothing in his performances so far, this needs to be a big performance today.

Isak better show me something today.
Him starting over Ekitikè is a bewilderment to me. So Slot be warned l will not be happy if this doesn’t work out!

Arne said it’s Dom, of course it is.

damn it!!

To be fair, he’s our best rb

currently our best midfielder too

This is part of the problem with two good players vying for one spot. The pressure mounts on the fella who gets the nod.

Ekitike has made a good start to his Liverpool career. I’m not sure if his goal scoring has tailed off the last few, it feels like it has but I need to check that. Isak hasn’t got going yet, due to fitness, and a sharp and firing Isak will be a huge asset to this team, as we are not scoring enough.

I hope Isak scores today, hopefully even more than one, to start to lift some of the gloom among fans. It’s likely Ekitike will come on from the bench, either for Isak or Gakpo and hopefully he has a good showing too if that happens.

Maybe we should try him as a striker

The balance of the team is more important than who’s best where.

Why is Ekitike on the bench.
Might as well bin Gomez off now. Criminal to put Sozbo at right back with Gomez and Ramsey available.
Pressure on Slot if this fucks up

try anything at this point, i just want results and a gameplan that makes sense
