Some players are probably more prone to lose substance in the current circumstances. Bobby is the kind of player who feeds on the energy of the crowd. My take is that he struggles with the empty stands.
Not looking for excuses for him, but it’s a fact that the current circumstances are totally strange and can change things. As far as we are concerned, the change is certainly for the worse. We have consistently looked like shit since the first lockdown, and Bobby has been a symbol for that.
