Commentator just described that as a “decision in our favour”. Not by my definition, mate, opposition player takes a dive and walks away with no punishment, is no decision in our favour.

So far so good. We struggle a lot at creating chances, but we have controlled the game. One major defensive error from Wolves made Salah get through on target, so 1-0. Will mention that we did need help to score though.
Neco Williams worries me. His lack of discipline and tendency to pull at opponents arms if they run past him will get him 2 yellows and a red if he doesn’t stop that. Otherwise, he has been okay.
Likewise disappointing with Curtis Jones decision making, he ruined 3 attacks with bad decisions. Otherwise he has been good enough though, so no major complaints.

Fabino has been very good. Firmino also very good. Salah is lively and runs into space. Mane also very good. And yet, Wolves are also very good and we struggle a lot at creating chances. Traore is causing us issues when he runs at speed, he drags more than one of our players out, liberating space for Wolves elsewhere. Worried he may cause us more problems in the second half.

Also, Kelleher has been very impressive so fr. This is his second game in a row and he comes across as mature.
Can we dare hope for an even better Liverpool next half ? I think so :slight_smile:

The latest VAR farce. Even when they correctly reverse a decision, they fail to reconsider the whole incident.

If that’s rugby the TMO is in the refs ear to say there’s no contact, freekick to Liverpool and a booking for Coady. They consider the whole incident not just the one decision they review.

Failure of officials to use the technology to its fullest.
