We should be up in arms regarding our form, but I agree with @Mascot, this is not the ideal game and opponent to let anger out, since this is in fact, an actual incredibly strong opponent in form. Of course, given the recent result against Real, I understand (I too!) many hoped we had turned a corner, but the fact is, we are not at all in form and then playing a ruthless lethal team like Manchester City is pretty damn difficult.
I too hoped for something very different, but I think we should be more angry regarding our previous games against the weaker teams than we are today.
We are just not good enough and the opponent is too strong.

That’s never going to happen but the drop off in performance from the Villa and Madrid game boils my piss. And it’s not a one-off, we see it time after time after time, games where we can’t string 3 passes together, can’t defend, can’t create a fucking chance…it’s baffling and I don’t know if it’s the players or the manager to blame. It happened under Klopp too so maybe it’s the players, too much smoke being blown up their arses, I just don’t fucking know.
