Pre Match: Manchester City v. Liverpool, 1630 BST (UTC +1), Sunday 10 April 2022 (Premier League)

You deserve a win for your belief that we’re going to be the first ones to beat them from 0-1 down this season. I’d prefer they kept their record untested tbh.

Fuck they are good odds. What you stick on?

This bit particularly shit

This will be the first meeting between City and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in 17 months, the first there for more than three years to be soundtracked by the noise and songs of fans, rather than the hollow clatter of empty plastic seats in the wind.

Has he ever been to their stadium?

My mind is all over the place about this game. 1-1 sounds likely, or 2-1 to either team. Then again, if one team has a perfect day and wins 4-0, it wouldn’t surprise me that much either.

The one thing I know is it will be a good game, both teams go for it, that’s what I think makes the games against City great so watch. The quality and the approach from both teams.

I think we need the first goal in order to win. So… we score first and win 3-1 :open_mouth: :+1:

I thought about a low scoring game and the only two ways it ends 0-0 is one of their attacking players gets sent off quite late on and we can’t capitalise, or Alisson has to have the game of his life because we can’t win enough possession.

0-3! Now wake up!

Just killing time here, should be DIYing but tempted to just goto the pub.

I don’t think he’s wrong here, surely we have away fans making the trip today?

3-0 to Liverpool and KDB to score first :eyes:

it will be 2-2 in the first half and we score a third one in the 83rd minute to win the game.

That’s mightily specific

Love a little Salah suspect penalty last minute and score. Throw in a few ropey decisions towards us and a VAR disallowed goal for them and I’d enjoy it. Not sure about the heart though

My nephew just texted me to say there still tickets left in the home end for today so he’s going. How is it not sold out?! Fucking ridiculous! It’s four years today since we beat them there in the CL. We were able to get home tickets for that on the day too. Not surprising given what we did to them in the home leg.
COYR!!

Fucking joke of a club. Must have had returns because I tried a few weeks back for a ticket in the home end and it was sold out then.

Returns :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Got to be Salah, Firmino, Mane to start. Bobby the best we have at dropping in to make an extra midfielder when out of possession as well as understanding the press.

Mo might not be in form but this isn’t the one you over think about and drop him for. Best players on the pitch. Mane or Diaz is perhaps the least clear cut but feel like Mane has the experience of playing this City system and is perhaps the safer bet.

Just hope we go for it. Full throttle from minute one, front foot and hunting in packs. And that someone boots that little chav Foden into the upper deck early on. Serve as a warning to the rest of them.

All set for the match, Kid to hopefully go to sleep by 9. Told wifey that I do not expect to be disturbed tonight of all times. There’s going to be some hell to pay if the kid decides to throw up a tantrum today of all days
