Newcastle’s midfield 3 is the strongest part of their team so I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re 3 at the back a lot to get that extra man into midfield.

U21s played like that a fair bit today with Miles tucking in from LB and Ramsay going forwards at RB. Pinnington and Lucky just shuffled across.

Their attack is just all raw pace. Big test for our defence and where we set our defensive line.
Not hugely confident but an early goal would certainly help.

Suddenly our bench looks very thin. Could be because many haven’t started a lot, so may be we can say apart from Robertson and Endo not much experience on the bench.
Chiesa has a lot of expierence. So does Gomez and Elliott if we are honest. Ignore the loss of Jota in this context as that is a tragic situation you’d have Diaz and Morton to pick along with Quansah and switch Hugo for Diaz you could still claim there isn’t much experience.
