Slot said multiple times that Ekitike is not ready for 90’ minutes and with striker shortage currently he doesn’t want to risk getting him injured. Was subbed all previous games. It’s obvious it’s the same case.

If everyone was fit and available (Frimpong) then I’d have gone with our midfield from last year with Wirtz on the bench. I mentioned in the post match last game that he didn’t do much all game.
