PSG are playing some great stuff here, weâre not even a feature. Wirtz is the only player in red who looks like he belongs on the same pitch.

New system. Set up to keep things tight at the back, and try to spring an attack up front.
Behind after 11 mins, albeit with a fortunate deflection. PSG more tactically astute with the their fouling. They lose the ball high up the pitch, they will make a small foul to allow them to get back position defensively.
Gomez yellow was a European ref style decision. Alexis took one for the team. PSG carved out two good chances, with Mama doing well.
We somehow need to only take a one goal loss to Anfield. Don;t let the game get away in the first leg.
Hugo needs to keep things a bit more simple. Does well to initally get the longish ball under control, but then needs to lay a simple pass rather than trying to take someone on or do a cute flick.

Half time, and Iâm going to take a more positive view that you miserable cunts.
This was always going to be a game in which we would have to suffer, and so far weâve suffered really well. Yes, PSG can claim they should have scored more but thatâs our job here - frustrate them and stay in the game. Not go toe to toe with them and put on a show. The way some of you wanted us to try and play, weâd have been buried by thirty minutes.
The most positive thing for me is that the worst thing happened on 11 minutes and we didnât immediately capitulate and give up.
We need to be better in the second half on the ball and make the most of our limited possession, but honestly 1-0 at full time is OK.

The trouble is PSG staff will see the indecisions we have in this new system, and will give instructions on how to exploit it in the second half.
