We have played well, controlled most of the events, but we don’t create enough offensively in the end. When you look at how many big chances we have created, they are few and Leipzig still has the biggest one in the game so far.
I am feeling okay though. Maybe Leipzig will counter and win, but once again I dare say that we have a really good chances winning this if we stay concentrated and continue to press Leipzig while controlling their transitions.

Yeh, because the blueshite are a million miles away from it.
For a neutral, despite lack of goals, this would be great. I would have loved it before I became a Liverpool fan.

Very pleasantly surprised. Apart from the early chance for Olmo, Leipzig have been kept in check, and our lads have done everything right on the pitch, apart from scoring… Oh wait, they actually scored, but Firmino’s perfectly regular goal was chalked off.
(When it rains, it pours, eh?)
Anyway, if our lads can keep the same commitment and concentration levels throughout the second half, they look good for something. A 0-0 away isn’t the best result, so it would be really good to score a goal tonight.
Fingers crossed that our lads can pull off a win tonight, on the basis of that first half performance, they deserve it.

Decent half. We look better when we move it faster. Thiago has improved as the game has gone on I think. Alissons kicking and the switch into the space behind Trent would be my only worries.
Was the ball out? Unless the camera was directly above the ball, can’t tell if it’s that close. But they have calibrated cameras for the offside check that takes care of perspective…so why not use that for if the ball was out?
Would you expect him to like us.

If he does, he is professional and doesn’t show it. Imo the studio guys on BT always cheer on the English team and this is not different. As for Lineker in general, he tends to be very lavish with praise to whoever he thinks deserves it.
I really like Lineker as a studio guy, think he is the best of the lot by far in England. A very intelligent man who is also very professional and comes across as a nice guy with the odd wise-ass joke. Probably one of the smarter professional football players, Lineker. He is one of the few of the English studio guys I tend to listen closely to.
So I guess I am saying that I don’t agree
