Pre Match | Real Madrid vs Liverpool | CL Quarter Final first leg | Tuesday April 6th 20:00h | Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano

If Phillips hadn’t been letting ball sail over his head and cleared it Trent wouldn’t have even needed to cover unfortunately this doesn’t fit your agenda.

That describes why it is so bad. You don’t need to have effectively pressed the ball there to avoid being beaten by 1 ball from 30 yards inside the other half. For as bad as we’ve been with the ball, those are two pathetic goals to give up.

We’ve been dreadful. TAA is having a shocker. We’re getting over-run in midfield. We keep giving the ball away. There is no urgency. They are beating us to all the second balls. It’s as if we showed up expecting them to be crap. And we’ve been crap.

Yeah we are blaming individuals when the whole team has been poor our front 3 are non existent midfield could mark a barn door with a crayon and the defenders arent communicating and covering effectively and our passing…l dont get me started

VAR checked it according to BT.

There’s a Prince lyric about fucking the toast right out of someone’s mouth.

Never heard that one, though.

It’s all the fault of the midfield, the forwards are pressing and comin back just nothing from the midfield.
It isn’t the 1st time this has happened when either Gini or VVD have the captains armband.
What got me the most was no reaction what so ever after their 1st goal, it even got worst.

damn!!!..that bad. well misery loves company, so im here now to partake.

Keita, just want to say it’s easy to be wise after the fact. Don’t get me wrong, it was a surprise to see him get the nod, but if we are trying to see the rationale, then he can dribble and break through the lines and hopefully support the strikers and give them a problem that way.

As it transpired he was peripheral and put in a poor display. Not the only poor display in that first half, far from it in fact, but in our frustration there is a temptation to stick the boot in on him and Klopp.

What’s done is done. Energy behind the team now for me…

Let’s win the second half and see where we are at as we take them back to fortress Anfield. Oh…

I really don’t believe that, nor can I imagine how anyone could forget everything they know about these players.

We’re totally elsewhere at the moment in this game, and it’s utterly disappointing to witness. But even if we get demolished and have one of our worst games, it says nothing about our players on its own.

Yup. Would be a miracle if it ends 2-0

The agenda before the game was that we would exploit their make shift back 4.

You are blinkered look at Philips position having to cover Benzema, Trent should have covered you have no idea

Your paying his remaining contract up. You can terminate willy nilly.

We need to make sure we get at one goal, we don’t need to win but we need to have the away goal in the beg for the return leg

Come on, lads, make it worth it.

Everyone has been shite.

Naby Keita…
47 million. Meant to be the saviour. Given the number 8. Had to loan him back to Leipzig so had a years extra wait given anticipation.

Injury riddled which fucked him. When he was fit, he would go invisible. I would mention it, usually get criticised, fair enough. Would drop an 8/10 against a Bournemouth and people would say he’s back. Then go missing again when we need him. I was against him playing tonight, mentioned it . Was criticised myself. But in the end proven right, I think that’s him done at this club. He was too shit to even play 40 minutes. I’d sell and save the money on all the physio bills we pay on him.

What a waste of money and effort
