Several days later? You don’t get that in the real world. Particularly when you’re critical to the team. As I said, you don’t have that luxury when you’re self employed so you tend to have less tolerance to it.
I don’t think it matters what kit we wear at the moment.

In my experience, you do, and even if it is not a legal/contractual requirement, a decent boss (one with a shred of empathy) would give you the time off in any case.

Alisson isn’t self-employed. He has employers and colleagues who are evidently willing to give him the time he needs to get his head straight. The majority of supporters are willing to give him the same, as well, excluding one or two indignant dickheads.
