Hasselbaink hit the nail on the head there: it’s poor finishing.
I’ve put the same thing in my match report- a keeper can only save the ball if you put it within his reach.

Out of possession TAA is dropping into a three.
Salah is our best scorer, and I’d prefer him to be pushed up front rather than dropping too deep.
Sheff Utd obviously targetting Kabak, and that will continue. Got away with the own goal as was offside, but needs to not make the Sheff Utd forward players look like Drogba. A long ball should be eaten up by him according to scout reports, but Sheff Utd seem to be able to bring the ball down when challenging with Kabak.
Two clean sheet in 45 surely that’s going to be 46 very very very soon.
It’s like an ongoing deja vu. We’ve seen a first half like that over and over again. As if we are stuck in a time loop.
On a positive, we usually score in the second half eventually.
We are creating chances but not burying them. I’d like to see Shaq on for Bobby with Mané in the middle.
If it was last season you would know it was only a matter of time until we score. This season, I’m just waiting for the bloody stretcher to come out.
Expect us to go hell for leather in the first 10mins, and try to break them down. If we don’t do it then…
… Origi 96 minute winner
We aren’t poor, which isn’t new, but our profligacy infront of goal continues.
Ramadale has made a number of saves, but I put that down more to poor finishing rather than the keeper doing anything spectacular.
Defensive partnership is holding so far, apart from a couple of shaky moments, think they did fine that half.
Hopefully we set a good tempo second half, I hope to see Keita in that second half if Klopp wants to make a change in the middle of the park.
We pepper their goal in the second half as we did in the first, I am sure something is going to give.
One compensation I think is that we do look a bit sharper. The chances being created are better one’s. just need someone to bury one now
Ramsdale done well, but for that Bobby shot, he was already on the floor. A simple lifted ball was all there was to it. Shame Salah was not on the end of it.
Keep going, and should carve out a really good chance. Question is, can we shut up shop at the back.
How do they make sausage casings that strong?
Brewster warming up.
We’re playing really well. We just need to be patient.
We just need a goal.
We dominate as expected but finishing not good enough for a premier league level keeper not to have a very good chance of saving. None of the saves have been extraordinary, just good.
So while Ramsdale is having a good game , it is one we have helped to create.
Nightmare scenario in second half is them scoring on a deadball or a counter while we dont.
I do think we’ll win though but I am happy we are playing Sheffield and not a Top 12 team with more lethality.
Two at least
Except that the strikers are misfiring and the defence looks a little shaky.
Come.on red men! Let’s get the job done
Fuck the ref didn’t fall for it that time.
Goal Curtis Jones
Hope it stands
