Sorry holding the midfield together in front of an inexperienced CB pairing and allowing Thiago and Jones to attack and running all day is a major influence in the game. Its not just doing the visible things or glamorous things that represents a major influence.

I’m about as big of a Gini fan there is, but I was going to say it’s looked like he’s mailed it in for the year. He’s on cruise control and playing not to get hurt. He’s thinking about his next stop.

Yeah, so we have played okay, opposition given. This display would not at all (most probably) have been good enough against a mid-table or worse, Top 4, team, but against struggling Sheffield, it’s enough.
Hopefully this game, which stopped our horrid run of losses can lead to something better. Because so far, it’s been Leipzig that has been the one very good game since, well, a long time ago.
Crossing my fingers and toes in hurtful ways that this will inject enough positive energy to make Klopp’s job easier, regenerate some team confidence, and maybe we can end the season striking upwards instead of continuing to fall down on the table. Top 4 still in theoretical and practical reach if we find form…

Honestly I would be intrigued to learn more about these guys in terms of their outside of football backgrounds. It’s too bad that Mike Riley has basically imposed a gag order on the PGMOL because I’m sure that they’re not bad guys outside of football, but unfortunately when they make a ton of mistakes and aren’t very transparent about it people get angry.

Dominated the game, the boys needed this in for moral booster. Everyone of the boys pull in a shift today, and nobody slack off. Jones is continuing to impress, he’s gonna be some players for us. If it wasn’t for their GK we would’ve ran away with the game. I think our backline is still susceptible to over the top balls, but I think for the most part they dealt with Utd forwards well today.
Unlucky Bobby didn’t get the goal but I think it’ll help his confidence none of the less.
Midfield we dominated the middle of the park and Jones was the bright spot there.
Overall good game, but big big game coming Thurs against Chelski… If we win that then we are in a very good position
