This is our 3rd game in a row we’ve had zero shots on goal in the first half.
Ironically Taki played v’s Palace and not seen since…
Maybe Klopp will drop Ox a few yards back positionally to get more involved. Or maybe st up with Gini and THiago as a two with Ox central in front.
As it is, Ox is positioned in no man’s land, not helping the midfiled with defnece and play out from back, and not linking up with the front three.
I’d replace Ox with Curtis, and allow him to dribble with the ball.
Ok let’s wait for the last 10 minutes of the game before we show any urgency.

Shots on goal can be misleading. We got in their box plenty and had a few chances that could have been converted with a better bounce.
Seriously we have a tendency here to get into a bit of competition about who can be most outraged and disgusted. Southampton haven’t been that good. They got lucky of a Trent mistake and then just harried.
We were off for the first twenty and then got much better.

Taki played well that day. Not sure why that’s ironic. Bringin him on for mane/salah/bobby wouldn’t change how deep our midfield is sitting. Wouldn’t change the two CMs playin CB.
