My issue is with peolpe who talk about the preception and not on today’s performance I thought 1st half he did very well, 2nd half he is now struggling with the pace of the game, but also we now seem to have dropped deep and stopped pressing.

I’m willing to hang fire on Thiago. Everything has gone wrong this season. With a proper defence and a couple of midfielders who will put their foot in alongside, he might start to excel.
He hasn’t been bad, but he hasn’t been as good as hoped. Still, it always struck me as a cherry on the top sort of a signing… but this season the whole cake has gone to shit.

Midfield has been woeful this half. Strange decision by Klopp to not get fresh legs on. They aren’t tracking runners at all.
