Pre Match Thread Leeds Vs Liverpool 19th April 8pm

This is bad, really bad. We could lose Klopp over this.

Why the stupid journalists asking Klopp? It’s a decision by the owners/management.

Yep, he will now protect the players. That’s all he can really do atm.

Sounds like he wants to walk. Essentially he has been told nothing in advance and left to answer for the actions of the owners.

Because the owners hide. They’ll never give access to journos. And they leave the managers in the firing line of questioning. And the journos wanted to see if he backed his comments from 2019.

He didn’t hide. I love that man. Like Brick in Anchorman loves lamp, I love Jürgen.

Would be happy if our players do some kind of a t-Shirt protest.

Agreed. Jürgen Klopp is the ultimate man manager. He is a players coach through and through. He seemed really bothered and upset by the backlash on his players.

John you’ve let the players and the manager walk alone, I’ll watch tonight now because it’s not fair to them to walk alone.

If Klopp goes you can shove your league.

Then the journalists should be after the owners and not pestering Klopp. I hate this lot. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Thanks for posting that @GermanRed. I was doing my best to transcribe as he was giving his answers.

I would be happy that, all the players say, we are just the players on the pitch. We had no idea what the owners were doing.

It’s not like Leeds supporters were going to arrange a beano to Massachusetts to express their disgust directly to Henry and Co. The reception is as expected. Staff and players shouldn’t have been put in this situation.

Where Jurgen goes I will follow

Hoping for a win tonight but how the players can be properly motivated with all this new league crap going on I do not know.
