Frustrating to have so many injuries when we’ve a chance of solidifying Europa League and pushing for Champions League. Not many game changing options from the bench, or even options to see games out. We’ve dropped so many points this season late on after subs have been made, because they’ve not been good enough to keep the level of performance up.
Can understand him resting Gini, but hope Jones is better than when he’s played in recent months.
Top four is still in the balance, but we’ve not been helped by these injuries, so many of which seem to happen in training these days.
Harvey Elliott could only be called on for exceptional circumstances. Surely our injury situation is exceptional!

Yip, it was the fucking tackle against the scum, I can’t remember who did it.
We haven’t seen Jones for ages, Curtis or Scott for that matter, so I haven’t a clue what your on about, please enlighten me.
Edit: last time we saw Curtis Jones he was on for 5 minutes at the end of a match and in that time managed an assist which is pretty good going compared to Gini, Thiago or Fabs don’t you think?

When you see what refs let the opposition get away with against our lads our injury crisis isn’t much of a wonder. Last time i saw us playing Mané got rugby tackled and the ref didn’t even blink.

Is Jota out for the season did I hear ??? Also rumour has it we will give Adrian another year deal and loan out Kelleher
I dont understand your working out. I mean if we win just 2 games out of the 3 then we’ll be on 66. Chelsea getting to 67 means theyve already finished ahead of us so they only need to win one and they have a good chance of winning against Villa. Spurs have a better chance of losing to Spurs so if they lose to Chelsea too they end up on 66 with a lower GD so we get CL.
Its a case of whichever team has the most chance of losing their last game is the better one to lose for us. Personally i think that Leicester have more chance of losing to Spurs.
I would love to see this.

The way our season has gone there’s more chance Liverpool lose to Liverpool than Spurs losing to Spurs.

There is no reason at all to prefer that Chelsea are able to reach 70 points when the most we can get is 69.
The mini tables show the situation on the final game of the season in different scenarios. Leicester winning at Chelsea gives us the best chance of making top 4 because it means we could even draw on the final day (or earlier).
Gutted about Jota The gods have not smiled on us this season. Hopefully Mane finds some form from somewhere.
Exactly, 2 wins for us and LC C draw has the table
67 - LC
66 - Liverpool.
65 - C
Perfect scenario going into last game.
LC will feel like they need to beat TH, TH will fell like they have two beat LC, a draw would be worst they would both want, a loss puts their available season targets at risk.
C will have AV, they would have to win, a draw would probably not help. The have CL to worry about, they need to balance squad, they do however have an extremely strong squad.
Liverpool win in above scenario, we are in, a draw or loss will means we will rely on other results.
No it’s not, because it eliminates some scenarios where we get through with a draw.
Lets just smash our last 3 games eh and not worry about others.

We simply have to win all three. You can’t draw two win one then stop dropping points again if you want European football.
If we lose today Spurs and West Ham would be just a point behind us with us all having two matches left.
As we sit here today we could still finish as low as ninth.
The players need to use playing today after Thursday to imagine how it will be next season if we finish 5th.
Fat Sam probably wanted a dry pitch with long grass to interrupt our passing game.
Unless the rain is heavy
