Pre-Match | West Ham United vs Liverpool | PL matchday 21 | Sunday January 31st 16:30h | Olympic Stadium

So lads and ladesses, is it a 4231 with Thiago behind the front three (Origi on the left, Shaq on the right and Salah as the front spear) like at Tottenham, or is it some form of 442 diamond, with Shaq behind Salah and Origi?

I’m curious to see how they’ll line up on that pitch.

Nat has to be careful with his tackling, we don’t want to be giving away free kicks or pens :pen:.

I’m not normally one to jump to conclusions, but I fear the writing is on the wall with Taki, I hope I am wrong, but even with injuries etc he’s just not getting a look in. He was decent against Palace but every other time he’s played it’s been hard to see what he is bringing to the team.

No, that’s were Origi comes in. Allison is at centre forward, it’s a cunning plan.

runs around a lot with no end product… more like masturbation without the payoff

They all need to be careful with the Tackling .
WESTHAM are a big team , dangerous at set pieces .
That said
Win midfield and play in there half

This could be one of those absolutely mad ones where Div scores a hatrick. Would rather see Taki get a run out as I think he just needs time and confidence to have a future here. Regardless, 1-3 please.

Own the midfield, and make em chase.

I can see the potential with him though, has a lot of energy and is good in tight spaces, and forward thinking.

If Origi doesn’t perform, I will be rather cross with Jürgen…If so, I would make the change at half time.

I’d say Shaq on the right, Div on the left, and Mo through the middle. Need a big game from him and Thiago.

all true… feel badly for the kid to be honest… he is better than origi but origi makes sense in this game simply because of west hams size… if im taki, i put in a transfer request in the summer. too good a player to be sat on the bench like he is

Not only you…

Nat is a physical chap and loves the challenge, remember against Newcastle they were counter attacking in behind Andy and he came over put man and ball into touch. :joy:

Yeah can see why Origi is playing this one, Taki will get his opportunity, think he did better as an 8, asking him to do what Firmino does is a bit too much at the moment.

Would the real Roberto Firmino please show up again today.

Yes, I think that’s the way it’ll go, which would be a shame as AfriKana says, the potential is there, but I just don’t see him getting the time to settle into the team.
