I agree completely. Very lucky that he didn’t get two yellow cards.

Totally disagree, it seemed he had more shots on target than any other forward and actually looked like he gave a fuck.

He did more than our other forwards in that time yes gave away 2 freekicks wish Salah had done the same on their 2nd goal

He was the only player actually moving and wanting the ball

I’m sure that Arne and his team will know the personnel, formation and tactics to see us through this game . COYR YNWA :+1:

He did however not in a constructive manner for me. Yes it’s nice to see that engagement, like that of Szoboszlai, unfortunately it needs to be channelled to be effective and you need something from the rest of the team as well or it just looks and feels crazy.

Good on ya Commando. I’m with you!!

Recency bias, bad form, poor results, frustrated players and all of us in a bad mood, make it natural to suggest this is another loss.

But it’s a new game and hopefully the start of the turnaround. It will come.

I agree with the consensus that Mo and Konate go and Slot needs to make some changes.

Won’t be happy though if Hugo is out and Flo not back.

Could he change the system and play Hugo and Isak upfront together?

Or Endo comes in to try and add some steel, hassle and hard ball wins.

Whatever. We will be back. I tip a 2-1 win.

That lacks balance to me.

We always used to compensate on the opposite side of Salah with a player doing a bit more, playing a bit deeper.

Now playing someone like Ekitike on the opposite side of a 33-year old Salah doesn’t sound good at all. Not to mention together with some other positions, behind and ahead of them.

Right now it’s easy to imagine a thousand ideas, but really it needs to make sense.

Realised this will be the first match I can watch since Villa so maybe I’m the one at fault.

I will be hoping very hard that it is not another 3-0 or 4-1 to the Hammers…

Well I’ll put up with until we go behind by 2

Anything else is wrong…in Arne’s eyes anyway.

Can’t wait for this masterclass…sadly it wont be coming from the side everyone would expect it to.

Can we get Robbo back in the team, please?

Hopefully he’s fine now after a week since the Scotland session.

At this stage, taking our form into account, this is a must not lose game. Glass half empty.

I am certainly not against Robbo coming back into the starting 11, but Kerkez has been far from our biggest problem these last couple of games. I think he’s been lively and one of the few players willing to get stuck in. The squad should feed off that energy.

Kerkez is not our biggest problem, I didn’t say that. No individual is, for that matter. Far too much focus on individuals ahead of phases of play.

But I’d have Robbo back in.
