Such an unusual experience to be smiling right now. Happy for Nunez to have got in such a good 70 mins where he looked constantly dangerous and developing a good relationship with the other two. And also happy to have such a livewire like Jota back on.

Wasn’t involved in the 9-0 vs Bournemouth and the magic win vs Newcastle. Just saying
Lovely to see Jota getting a run out.
As for Nunez, if this performance is reduced to the sound bite that it’s another performance without a goal, as though that’s all it was, then it will be the lazy view of people who don’t know football.
He has been at it all night, laden with threat, showing skill, pace, desire. In many ways Nunez helped set the tempo for Liverpool to look like we’ve come to life again.
So keep shining Darwin lad. You didn’t get a goal tonight, but I can see you are a player, and it will come.
