I’m not sure the players should be approached before the game to be questioned ‘does this game mean more your mate has died’. Like players are prepping for a game, save that for the manager/pundits or maybe after the game. I wouldn’t like to be in a vulnerable state before a big game anyways, just to answer yes I’m upset my mate is dead.

They’ll start coverage of the game bang on kick off.
