I don’t take Arsenal lightly.
Expecting them to start with high intensity but that’s not because of Arteta but more because of the home advantage.
Won’t be long until Arteta slows his players down and will be happy with a point.

Managed to get my son a ticket for this match - He’s trying to get to all 92 grounds in the Top 4 divisions in England (Prem, Championship, League 1 and 2) and this will be ground number 38.
I’ll be watching at home, unless I get one of those messages from someone!
I actually couldn’t care less who Klopp starts, just seeing Klopp in the dugout and doing his pre and post match interviews is enough.
A win would put out a massive statement but it’ll be a tough one… but can make up for that draw at home. The refs will be against us too, so we have them to contend with as well as 11 Arsenal players.
These are the days.
Darwin Nunez is a doubt for Sunday.
Klopp: “Someone stepped on his foot. He felt something and left stadium in a [protective] boot. Nothing broken after scan but swollen.”
I knew someone would be injured.
Glad it’s not broken mind.
Gakpo to start then. I think he was in line to start instead of either Darwin or Lucho anyway mind.
But Klopp said he did not yet see Darwin’s foot today so it might already be better, and the match is in two days. Let’s hope Darwin’s foot is not swollen anymore then so he can at least make the bench. We need every option available.
That’s a serious problem. It only leaves us with three fit attackers.
Poor Darwin. He’s so unlucky!
Maybe we can push Dom up on to the right wing and Trent can play RM.
Hopefully fit for a cameo at least, we’ll miss his electric pace up front. Gakpo should at least be fresh and raring to go given he’s taken a backseat in the past couple of months.
Oh well, if Nunez can start, then Gakpo it is.
If it’s Jota central and he struggles to receive/complete a pass like in the first half against Bournemouth, then flip their positions like we did at HT for the much better second half.
Gakpo at least gives us the flexibility to flip their positions during a game or at HT.
We are not as good when Darwin doesn’t play. His pace and power opens it all up, he occupies defenders, and in turn it gives the others more space to do their thing.
If he can’t start, hopefully he can do 20 mins as that will be enough for a match winning contribution.
I think this will be a tight one. If Arsenal lose they are all but out of the race. Not completely, but 8 points back will be tough. If they draw, for them, ok. Still in it, thereabouts.
But a loss from their end will be disastrous. It will leave them in the dust and put wind in our sails, and at that point the fight will focus on two teams. The mighty reds and the 115ers.
Are you sure there is no other option …
There is, but not a better one.
Arguably there is another option, e.g. Szoboszlai higher up on the right, or even Elliott, and then Trent right midfield, with Bradley bombing up and down.
We will probably go with Gakpo if Nunez can’t start, but there are other permutations to consider.
I like the idea of Conor, Trent and Dom on the right. Would be a nightmare for their left side.
Oh shit…
Fingers crossed he’ll be fine…totally different game without him, he makes us tick in attack.
Can we see his foot please that’s all we want to know
Wouldn’t be against a right side of Bradley, Trent and Dom.
