I said that…the Bournemouth guy was infront of the defenders…
Two important reasons imo: everyone stayed focused throughout, and Gomez didn’t have to go out injured, and was one of the best players on the pitch.
cannot worry about saving ekitike’s legs now. put him in at the beginning of the 2nd half. dont wait until the 70th minute
Ekitike needs to be on. Salah, Gakpo. Mac Allister. Toss a fucking coin. They’ve all been shocking.
Salah a shadow of his former self
The only good thing about this half
Because he’s shite. We need someone for sure but he is not the answer.
It’s negligence not addressing the defensive issues. Now we’re really in trouble after the injury to Gomez. Which was always going to happen.
Disasi is a French international and still outcast in the Chelsea bomb squad. I don’t get why if we aren’t going to buy one we haven’t at least engaged them over a half season loan
Would we even be able to register him?
Salah, Gakpo. Mac Allister. Toss a fucking coin. They’ve all been shocking.
This could have been posted in most games this season
Maybe not, but Guehi was.
He was shown it eventually.
No it was shown to the other player.
I haven’t been on here during the game, too scared! Not good, at all.
It is ridiculous how short we are at the back.
Let’s see what the second half brings.
We were never ever gonna pay him 200k pw let alone 300
Shame really considering we’ll get that back when our out of contract players leave in Summer but what do we know ey
Sometimes it feels like Edwards and Hughes believe they’re the smartest people in the room, that the system, the data, and the process matter more than what’s actually happening on the pitch. That confidence can be a strength, but it also risks tipping into arrogance when clear needs are ignored.
Harry Hindsight here, but all of the angst and hand-wringing around the will he sign/won’t he sign saga has delivered very little since it was concluded.
Gomez must be the most unlucky player, injured by his only player, rib or hip injury but looks more of a contact injury that muscular, so recovery can be quicker
