PreMatch | Bournemouth vs Liverpool | PL Matchday 24 | Saturday February 1st 15:00h

Not the end of the world if we drop points from time to time. So is it going to happen against this in form opponent?

My biggest problem with that would be going to Goodison after that and being ‘desperate for a win’

And please don’t get me started with 'we’ll batter Bournemouth because we rested our first team in midweek‘. Stuff like that usually doesn’t work for us.

Worried about this game… Look who they got managing them…

This feels like a huge game against an in-form team, especially going into the derby which can be unpredictable.

Going big against Lille, which allowed us to rest players tonight, might turn out to be a brilliant move. Arne playing chess.

Another 3pm kick off…fantastic.

Absolutely hopeless with these lame arse streams.

They’ve been on a great run, but this is where it temporarily comes to an end.

I’m quietly hopeful, generally they seem to follow a good couple of performances with a poor one.

They have 9 players out and we know what this does over time you can keep performing but it plays its part in the end.

They are also on the same form as we are.

Mentally feel this is an opportunity to really turn the screw. Extend the gap to 9 points and put Arsenal under pressure and they may crumble vs Cheaty.

Nice to see all the rotation in the CL. Hopefully the team will be rested and fully concentrated as this could be a big week in the title race. Beat Bournemouth and Everton, widen the gap, make the others lose heart.

These are shite, we’ll batter them 5-0 or Slot out.

It was a smart move by Slot to keep our first choice players at home. Tired legs are a great leveller.

Did anyone see their game against Forest? I’m curious as to why the Forest defence went to bits. I’m assuming that Slot has watched that in detail.

I remember that in the 2019-20 season that our best performances seemed to come in games that looked tough on paper. I’m hoping that’s the case here.

Really tricky match, they’re absolutely flying right now. Just dismantled Newcastle and Forest but they also had already beaten Arsenal and City at their place iirc. It feels like another chance to make a statement here. We’ve had a couple already recently which we didn’t quite manage to take (United and Forest). It could also affect Arsenal’s mood going into the City game. Very curious to see how this pans out.

If we win here and City get something v Arsenal I think that ends Arsenals hope.

I will preface the below by stating I am convinced the league is ours. I’m really just commenting on the manner of our looming triumph.

The Cherries are on fire, the in-form team of the league. A solid win on Saturday on their pitch and Arsenal will give up, nothing surer. They are mental midgets.

Just the highlights. Kluivert scored a worldie with their defence backing off, then they seemed to just swarm them with counters and Forest shit themselves.

I think it might be a good team for us to play (compared to the bus parkers) as they’ll attack and leave some space.

Should be a good game!
