I wouldn’t go as far as superb but certainly not as bad as Carragher was making out.
Last 5 min, would have given their defenders kittens as he has that ability to go past players
I can understand how one can take this perspective, especially given how we scored the equalizer totally against the run of play, but I just can’t help but feel we could have finished it off and failed to do so, and I think rightly so.

We didnt need a 6 apparently…but then bought a cheap one and wont play him. Instead we play mac allister out of position and wonder why he isnt as good as when he played for Brighton
I think a big part of the troubles today was that Trent seemed off the pace. Barely noticeable for most of the game.
Its a nothing stat because it doesn’t take anything else into account.
i do feel macca needs protection to be fair in order to be effective

Nobody is comparing with him for how he played for Brighton.
How many go on international break. Id rather them spent 2 weeks learning how to defend.
We played them with a side we would not have put out if everyone was available…
Draw is what it is… we missed a golden sitter that would have seen them off - one point better than none eh

Mate was there and said he was ridiculously shite today and goes to brighton a lot (lives down there) and said he was excellent for them.
How can you blame goals on not been able to defend both are individual errors the 2nd more than first Robbo pulls out clearing it.
All this talk about a DM, D stands for Defensive, the 6 we use needs to be a playmaker primarily and defensive secondly, I wish people would understand this.
This is our 1st season using this playing style and there will be hiccups, when we get the movemen right we can cut through teams
