They have only done in 2022 to ease Covid backlog games.
Yeah, they do allow them but the kickoff is usually 6pm in those in Europe.
Alternatively I remember one or two UK ones being on a Thursday.
Really? I swear I saw games last season that were held at the same time as Champions League gamesā¦
They are but they are generally the later rounds where UEFA seem less of an issue. Also helps if itās not televised though being both on TNT in the UK it will be less of an issue.

There was a mention in the Mirror that Tuesday 11th February has been pencilled in for this.
That will follow the FA Cup 4th round weekend so, assuming both teams qualify, it would seem to make sense to schedule the cup matches on a Thursday or Friday.

Not yet. There are a couple of pencilled dates but it was depending on the FA Cup results and the European cup matches.
Pencilled in for 11th February.

I think itās just because the probability of us failing to qualify directly for the final 16 is really low.
Yeah but the possibility is there unless the maths arenāt there.
There isnāt any caveat on what happens in case that does happen which would usually be the case. I hope the official announcement somewhere includes that.
