Everton seem to be playing well under Moyes and have gone (I think) 3-0 up in the first half in their last two matches. Expect they will be dangerous (with the ball too for a change) and any sort of victory (without injuries) would be immense.

Problem is Brighton just got beat 7-0, Spurs are well Spurs and Leicester.

The sample is rather low, it will be tough because they step up for the Derby, saying that they’ve already stepped up so perhaps.

I said that about 4 weeks back. Now it’s our next league game I think it’s a bit redundant.

I don’t care about it being the last derby at Goodison , they’re still shit , and they’re no longer in a relegation battle. I’d be surprised if we don’t come away with the win.

I’m more worried about Oliver and Kavanagh tbh.

They’ve got to honour the last Goodison Merseyside derby appropriately.

Violence and dodgy refereeing you mean?

It’s the PGMOL Way™!

…and one of them was a prolific goalscorer for Everton.

These are from the cartoon of yester year…

I’m just trying to work out who Mr Jinks is in this analogy. Personally, I always think of PGMOL as the Keystone Cops.

can't catch me

Look at the result in the opening post. How often did you expect us to go there an win? Every time, right?

Blaming the referees for all of those would sound very arsenalish.

Being the better team is sometimes not enough in football. For them it’s always the biggest game of the season.

It being the last derby at Goodison and the hope of ending out dominant run in the league will only give them extra motivation.

Will be interesting to see how many, and the type of tackles, that Oliver allows to be executed on our guys in this game.
I mean, it would be really concerning, if our club was to be playing his home club in a matter of weeks, in a domestic cup final they will be desperate to win.

Works both ways. The last thing we want is to give these spoilers that satisfaction. One thing is guaranteed though ; the atmosphere will be absolutely fucking poisonous.
