First half in my view: First 23-24 min, Liverpool domination. Then Chelsea adjusted and since that fairly even game, we a bit better but Chelsea solid. It’s a good and very competitive final. Great game to watch !

It’s weird, we have 3 forwards who all seem to play better on the left, definitely none of them excel on the right. I think Diaz needs to stay left and Mane has done well in the middle but Jota can only really play either of those positions. Same would have been the case tho if Bobby had come on as he doesnt play on the right either. Too late now but id have been tempted to go 442 in hindsight

Is their something wrong with the pitch - it looks a little dry/slow? Players seem to be favouring chipping and lifting the ball rather than playing quick passes on the ground?
Really hope those missed chances don’t come back to fuck us up our tight arseholes.

Excellent opening from us。 Could’ve been at least two up in the opening 10 minutes. Then a tactical injury by T Silva allowed Chelsea to regroup.
Then the game became stop start, which is exactly what Chelsea wanted, as it disrupted our rhythm. Ali with a typical save, but got injured by Marcus “pay to avoid jail” Alonso. Big blow for Salah to go off early as well.
Chelsea with counter chances (their only avenue in this match). But then we finished strong again. Kovacic pulling back Mane, but as Mane wriggled free, of course Pawson does nothing.
