Wirtz spends to much time and energy closing down and is knackered when he gets the ball.

We are far too slow when we get the ball. Slow to commit men forward and slow in thought. It’s pretty comfortable for Fulham.

Top level football has become so turgid and sterile. Everyone plays for possession, risk averse, treat counter attacking and direct play like it is “wrong”. The Guardiola-fication of a generation of coaches has really taken so much away from the sport.

Horrendous tactics. Putting Macca as the sweeping defensive midfielder, while he should be closer to the goal.
And, putting Jones as the midfielder closer to the opposition box. When did he ever scored or created a goal for ffs.
When you are missing your strikers, atleast use your goal scoring midfielders properly.
Just wait for the kitchen sink to be thrown in the second half…Rio, Frimpong and Chiesa in the last 10 min and Dom at Right back
