I have no issue losing to a side that has come out to play football. What boils my piss is teams that sit back and shithouse a spawny goal to beat us.

This is right. The defence has been un-nerved but I think playing Curtis out of position at RB is a big error. Needs to rectify at HT and perhaps also hook Mo and play Cody or Luis there where either will at least help out the RB

Arsenal play much different to us, they turtle and just wait for mistakes, rather than play on the front foot.

I find him a very odd choice for an ersatz right back. Jonesâ one real notable flaw is he holds on to the ball too long. The one thing you absolutely donât want in a fullback is not knowing when it is not time to hold on to the ball.

Started well, then everything went to shite.

HT 3-1
The warning signs were all there in the first few minutes. Fulham set up to prevent our play from the back, but we made mistakes, with Konate and Curtis dawdling.
Then an outside of the box screamer from Alexis calmed all nerves of the fans early on, making the away fans sing weâre gonna win the league.
We continued with the same play patterns, and the mistakes kept coming. The equalizer, Curtis not used the right back position with the ball coming in fell nicely for Fulham. The second was a couple of mistakes by Andy, though the deflection was unfortunate. The third, VVD needed to be stronger.
Weâve set up with our usual midfield, and the opposition managers now have a solid idea how to press the traps. Having Endo/Harvey playing more minutes would introduce some other play.
But there is still another 45 minutes left. Go all out attack and salvage something. Need to get the front three into the game.
