I wonder if any of 3 young defenders who trained with the first team lately could get some minutes. Mabaya, Nallo or Norris. Nallo is left footed if I’m right, but is he only a CB or can do a job at LB (even if in a more defensive way)? But I don’t think we’ll take a game like this so lightly. I expect changes, but certainly not something out of balance and with a “result is not that important” mindset.

Sorry, I was referring to changes with that, not starting. I think it’s fairly probable though that Robertson will probably get the bulk of the minutes.
@Sweeting’s domain, but I think Norris is actually a left-back? Not sure how good he is though.
All are registered. Oddly Norris as a midfielder (same for Cannonier).

Not Norris. Norris is a LB, though they also tried different things with him. Sometimes midfield and also on the wing if I remember right. Nallo is a defender.
Not sure if you saw my edit, but Norris is registered, albeit as a midfielder.
I don’t remember Nallo being used as a LB yet, it’s usually Carter Pinnington who goes out there.

Oh I get what you mean. I know you were talking about Nallo, I just meant to say that if Nallo hasn’t played left-back before then there’s no need to shoehorn him in there, since there actually is a left-back in the three.

Considering we’re without Mac in the next two games, Jones will be much more needed in that deeper LCM zone. Possibly also someone to come in off the bench, like McConnell or Morton if he’s back for Fulham. In which case, Szobo at #10 and Elliott might get some game time (or a start tomorrow) in that position, too.
