Howling! First time I’ve agreed with you. Momentous occasion. But now you’ve done it. I’m hungry. I am going to order channa bhatura tomorrow after TAA scores a brace (I still fast before and during matches–meanwhile people think Slot is responsible for our success).
Your chole bhature would still suck compared to the real ones.
Our friendship was nice while it lasted
Was it ever a friendship ?
I’m trying to remember whether you stated otherwise, quite recently too…that we’re not winning the league. Was it you I remember saying that? Not sure…
Well, any other kind of relationship would have lasted less…
I have always said that we’re the best team in the league but we won’t win it because of the refs. See 2013-14, 2028-19, 2021-22, and last season for precedence.
These rules interest me though
Both of you shut up. You’ve got me hankering for some motichoor ladoo and rasmalai

Yes, that’s what I remember. So what has changed in your view is that we will win despite the refs.
Everyone else is shittier this year
don’t mind my grammar @cynicaloldgit
Well actually it’s mostly Man City are shittier.
Nope. That’s not what I said. I said that IF the refs don’t screw us over again, we will win the league.

Oops, my bad, I read it again, yes, got it now. I guess I didn’t expect you would consider it a likely scenario to have even arbitration, so memory chose to base what I’d remember on your frequent ref moaning (no judging intended).
Ange Postecoglou on his Spurs team:
“We’re down significant numbers, we’ll have roughly 10 first-team players missing against Liverpool.”
So, 11 v 1. I like those numbers
FFS, Trent.
This is what I think the team will be
Trent Quansah Virgil Robertson
Jones Mac Allister
Szoboszlai
Salah Jota Gakpo
I think the team is not going to be particularly weakened. The lads have all just had a week off (and most went on holiday, which I always hate as it tends to be followed by a shit performance). Then I think it’s wholesale changes for Accrington. We don’t want to go into Forest with a week off, shite United game, then ten days off. Rhythm is really important.
I would not be playing Konate. I don’t think he’s fit.
I suppose Kelleher will start, as it’s ‘his competition’. However Alisson hasn’t been great since he came back, and I am nervous about him playing against Forest off a ten day break.
I would rest Gravenberch completely for this one. I am concerned at how much he has played. I would bring him on for thirty against Accrington.
I’d like to see Jones deeper, and see if a partnership with Mac can work against good opposition. I’m still not sure what the plan is if we’re forced to be without Grav. Endo on for Mac later in the game.
I think Szoboszlai needs to play, because he hasn’t played for a while, but Elliott would be in if he isn’t well enough. And that’s the sub I’d do on sixty.
Jota should start this. I want to see him back in the team, as he is our best striker and best presser. Gakpo and Diaz get 45 each.

I think Slot has pretty much said the same.
Didn’t Arne say Dom is a doubt fitness wise?
