It’s a back injury which is slightly an odd one to judge, he could probably wake up fine one day and then have it aching again the next. I assume they’ve struggled to spot the issue, hopefully it clears up post next week for the CL.

Noticed it lately that his body has changed a bit, no surprise given he’s so young. Last year or this year his puberty possibly ended.
His arse is already as big as Kenny’s… or Sterling’s.

So, some good news (Frimpong) and some bad news (Wirtz).
I wouldn’t go with both Salah and Gakpo from the start, but would definitely push Szobo higher between the lines.
Perhaps one of the following two options: Jones inside left or Jones alongside Gravenberch and push Mac to #10.
Hopefully Frimpong can give us something from the bench.

Hopefully it’s just a short term precaution with Florian. Back issues can derail careers if they become persistent, so it’s preferable to let him rest and recover in time for some of our tougher fixtures.
I think that was in regards to Hugo missing headers and doing training to improve is heading, but, safety concerns limit it, games gone soft.
No Salah and Gakpo in the same XI is all I ask. It’d be the ultimate birthday gift.
I’d prefer a win as the ultimate birthday gift,
regardless of who starts…

With Wirtz out I guess a 4-3-3 is far more likely as we have more options for that but could put Jones into a double 10 with Szobo. Harvey would have fitted very well into that role…

Looks like the right balance doesn’t it given the options. But you know with Gomez being the only senior CB cover at this stage of the season, Dom is going RB again and Jones in the centre. Either way, if they are not fired up for getting 3 points after Villa losing tonight then it’s already mentally beyond them
