I love those late Saturday night fixtures. Hope thereā€™s more of them. 5:30pm or 8pm. +1 in my time zone, but whatever. Ideal to win and head straight into town to get smashed. Perfect.

Since itā€™s a night game, hope the fans can create a European kind of atmosphere.

Which time zone are you in Z?
Would you like to write a series of posts all about your time zone and your experience of living in it? Iā€™m sure there are a lot of people who would appreciate that.

Evening kick offs are great for people in AEDT like me.

Im guessing this will be our next biggest test according to the know it alls.

Every next game is our biggest test yet, and I say that unironically. I do believe so because as long as we keep getting the results as we have, the next game is always our biggest challenge.

Thatā€™s probably the best attitude. If we start thinking that the next test is going to be easy, our performance will suffer.

I would love for Arne to continue his obsession with that Forest game, because it just means we havenā€™t lost any others.

Did he talk about it yesterday?

:joy:

Iā€™m gonna have to test it one day when I visit.

Some wanker journalist on sky sports last night, after our Leverkusen demolition, says something to the effect of I suppose Iā€™ll have to think about starting to give Liverpool some credit now but they still havenā€™t faced City away Blah blah blahā€¦

Really wish I had the option of viewing the match with stadium sounds WITHOUT the sodding commentary.

@Mascot Iā€™ve been spoiled!

I didnt think Tsimikas was going to be in the frame much this season, and happily I am wrong. He is playing well and keeping Robbo on his toes.
I reckon he starts on Saturday.
I have a feeling Szoboszlai replaces MacAllister, Curtis is nailed on to start.
Up front, Nunez and Diaz start.

Both Arsenal and City have difficult fixtures thos weekendā€¦

Im not meaning that i mean the narrative the media has been pushing thst everytime we win its expected the next game will be the biggest test.

Sorry, this is a bad habit of mine. I wasnā€™t directly replying to your comment in a sense, I was borrowing it to make my point.

Itā€™s funny they push that because to me itā€™s become a meme now. Of course the next game will be our biggest test, because all that have come so far have been conquered.

Itā€™s so they have two eyes checking it like in that Spurs match last season.

Means they donā€™t make any silly errors.

Oh

Except for Nottingham Forest, as Arne never tires of reminding us.

Mings doing Mings things tonight. Hoping he starts Saturday.

Remember this challengeā€¦
Referee John Brooks (same cheat recently against Chelsea)

Mings has been out injured for quite a while, slow/rusty as hell at the moment. Think we can expect more challenges like this at the weekend if he is played
