Wish this could be all about the departing legends but unfortunately we still need the points.

Can we please not make this thread about our head coach. We have enough other threads to do that.
Other results will determine what we need here but we are matching our last four last year so a point I guess is what we will get.
Brentford are playing Palace on sunday.
Their record in the last 11 games is W2 D6 L3.
The two teams they beat were Burnley and West Ham.
We should get Hendo to manage us for the final game
Can he come for the week and do some training
Drop Macca, play Nyoni with Jones our 6, drop Gakpo play Will Wright, play Mo.
Try Ndiaye at CB.
Sorry, but lost so much faith in a lot of our starters and feel the young fellas can’t do any worse.
My wish for this week is a Leeds draw and a City win so we secure qualification so that the fans don’t have to feel guilty for venting their spleen. Otherwise we’re going to have some player completely lacking self awareness come out and say how much the fans are needed come Sunday when most are absolutely dreading watching this team play.
This CL ‘race’ is basically like a relegation battle without the gumption. Not mentioning Slot on this is pointless as my views on this game are heavily influenced by what could contribute to his removal. So making CL would be good but ultimately anything that facilitates a break with our manager is far more important than this game.
Last game of the season, at home, two legends leaving, and a champions place up for grabs.
Usually, I’d expect the players to be up for it.
This is the first time in my life that I expect nothing.
Shankly’s ghost could rise from the kop and lead the pre game rendition of YNWA and I’d still expect this team to have the intensity of a pre season friendly.
Oh well, one more to go.
I am hoping we get enough points to secure a Champions League place next season and rest of our players are injury free. ![]()
Also, our legendary players, Mo and Robbo, I hope they get a magnifcent send off they deserve.
There is nothing else to hope for this season. ![]()
I’ve convinced myself, via magical thinking, that our woes started last September when I bought a scarf from the Liverpool shop in Williamson square. I was there again today and was tempted to go in and demand a refund…
Anyway, I needed a new keyring and thought I may as well go in. Let’s see if this now changes our fortunes.
I’m sure that this is our last game of the season. Let’s hope for better next season.

We go again, same old I presume. No preparation no importance given!
Chill out Flobs. They’ll do a couple of Rondo’s on Saturday afternoon. All good.
In a normal season we would be hoping Bournemouth get a result against Shitty. Where we are now it’s hard to say, I still hope Bournemouth get the result though Slot will be praying for another outcome.
I bet Brentford are dreading playing us next Sunday.
