We’ve looked decent going forward. Controlled possession.
But I still cannot remember a season I had less confidence in our defending. And the one or two actual attacks they had just reinforced that feeling.

Send him for the butty order…
11 points behind Yanited.
I am Jack’s bloated rectum.
We look as if we’re running out of steam…
Not looking good for the Hammers, Spurs up and Leeds are riding the punches.
Meanwhile, no one seems to want the non-CL European spots - everyone except Brentford is losing, with the other exception being the Sunderland and Chelsea match where two contenders are facing each other
Meh!
Don’t like the seagull shit shirts.
Sigh. We are what we are at this point and not much will change in one match. We’re just that little bit slow and moving the ball through the pitch up to attack that it allows Brentford to get a touch that will disrupt our entire attack. Defence we actually look a lot better than I’ve seen in many matches at Anfield this season. We actually looked decisive in clearing things. The one chance that did evade all the defenders we had Ali to do his Jesus thing. We really should be up 1-0 given the chances that we’ve had, but it is what it is.
I didn’t think I would either, but I got a vague nostalgic 80s reaction. I don’t quite remember which shirts they look like. Don’t mind them.
We have “pattern of play” but it’s between our defenders ![]()
HT 0-0:
One brilliant save on each side from the goalies to keep it at nil nil. We haven’t been bad. In a previous season, I’d expect us to use this as a platform for an improved second half.
Today, I’m expecting the opposite. The physical level of our players being what it is, I expect us to drop off, and to see much more moments like those which started to occur towards the end of the half: many clear-cut Brentford attacking moves, and out players incapable of stopping them.
Hopefully I’m wrong, and our lads will end this wretched season with a win. Fingers crossed.
We’re just too predictable to play against.
When we move the ball quickly we look so much better, but we just don’t do it enough.
Frustrating
Why can’t we have plain red shirts. I hate that awful design…
It frustrates me endlessly, but this is what we are supposed to do now.
Palmer doing England World Cup ads at halftime

Let’s see if Slot can inspire this team to a victory!
you got jokes
We seem to have lost our mojo
Yeah. Last year in March.
