PreMatch | Liverpool vs Brighton | FA Cup Round 4 | Saturday February 14th 20:00 GMT

I nust have a false memory there, definitely had a memory of him getting hooked.

Maybe it was Bradley.

With Bradley, I felt we sometimes put him in a rhythm of starting games so quickly after returning from injury. For me, Frimpong actually deserved a start or two more ahead of him when both were fit.

In terms of selection and balance, I’m pretty sure Konate will start, because he had his (at least physical) break not long ago.

We’ll see where Gomez plays if he starts, but it could mean Virgil gets a breather on the bench and comes on if needed or if we decide on 45 minutes each.

Jones and Szoboszlai might be key with their quality, experience and energy through the spine, as they should be fresher than some others.

I was interested to see who I could recognize from kids in that training video and I saw Nallo, Nyoni, Morrison and Ngumoha. Obviously Ramsay, though he’s not a kid.

EDIT: And yeah, I noticed one more kid I couldn’t recognize and that is Ewing as stated above.

Brighton’s record in 30 games this season: 10-10-10, goal difference 48-37.

8 of those 10 defeats being away from home.

4-1 to us.

Because we can.

Put together a strong team; this is our only realistic chance of winning a trophy. If Rio, Ramsey and Chiesa aren’t good enough to start in the Premier League, then they’re not good enough to start in the FA Cup either.

We’ve got as much chance of winning the CL as we have of this.

Makes sense to rest our life insurance Ekitike and hoping that this little break for Gravenberch will help him to get back to his best.

Was it really too much an ask to not see Mama here or not see Gakpo start one game?

This is a lineup from someone that’s worried about his job.

Van Ekitike on the bench?

He’s going for it. I’ll see if I can get the highlights tomorrow.

If there are any highlights.

Up for this.

Hope we have breathing space by half time to rest players.

Pretty harsh on Mamardashvili that…isn’t it meant to be his cup

It’s a good job we didn’t want to block Rio’s pathway.
