PreMatch | Liverpool vs Brighton | PL Matchday 10 | Saturday November 2nd 15:00h

Do think both of them will win this week. Both aren’t playing well but have the backing of the refs.

Was their team yesterday basically the first 11? We will probably change at least 8.

Made a comparison with Saturday and I think only 3 didn’t play last Saturday that played last night.

I’m not too fussed about this. Brighton’s kamikaze tactics will be found out , as they have been so far. They’ve got a non existent midfield (as far as their pressing goes). Press resistant midfielders like Grav / Mac will be able to play right through them.

The Brighton coach is simply too early into this job,

Brighton’s pressing tactics are often an overload of pressing people on to our defenders. Our first choice defenders have enough quality to withstand that and then pass to the midfielders.

A Way too high a press combined with a non existent midfield and some quite frankly ageing CB’s as far as Brighton are concerned. We’ll have plenty of chances , Just need to put them away

Referee: Tony Harrington. Assistants: Scott Ledger, Adrian Holmes. Fourth official: Bobby Madley. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Wade Smith.

Totally agree re Szob, you Don’t realise what you have until it goes missing, Szobs pace and energy covers the holes in the 4 2 4 pressing system we use

The only concern would be Mitoma/Adingra Vs Trent.

Any idea when Elliott will be back? I thought he was only supposed to be out for 6 weeks? Really miss his energy.

Mid November as per this article.

Pity Milner is out. I know we think he is indestructible, but these must be the last few chances to see him play.

Solly March always reminds me of one of those branch line stations.

Solly March sounds like an old Dixieland jazz standard.
