Watched the Cheaters earlier today - they were abysmal till their goal in the 71st minute. Disappointing to let in before the half, but just need to find a way to win.

Nice of Burnley to turn up this week.
As opposed to last week at City, where they just caved for 90mins.
Far from good enough. Our form just isnāt good enough as a team. But we can still win, but we are no where close to as good as we must probably be to win the league.
Very sub par first half. Need to step up second half. Need more energy in midfield
I actually think Gravenberch and Elliot could make a difference coming in. Theyāve been better off the bench than as starters this season

I think just lack of recognition of the danger. You dont expect someone to be able to score from a header from a header past the pen spot and so I just think the respective defenders (I think Diaz and Endo) just weāre urgent enough

This is cobbled together Liverpool side but we have enough top talent to carry the game. For me Nunez and Diaz need to do a lot better. Nunez needs to hold on to the ball and show that he can score goals in important games. Diaz needs to play with the other players around him more. Heās a bit of a lone ranger. Difficult to predict and easily beaten in the tackle

Elliott and Gakpo for Endo and Diaz would be the first subs Iād be looking at. Midfield isnāt meshing too well so far, and Diaz has been really poor.
The idea that other teams ācave in to Cityā and donāt play to their best of ability, while upping their game against us specifically, is an extremely silly myth that I have read for years here. But if you want to tell yourself such a fairy tale then I canāt help it.

A few seconds before the foul which produced the yellow, the ref signaled that he acknowledged there was a foul by Endo already (it really wasnāt a foul, but a coming together). When Endo did the second bite, then the card is always going to come out by this trigger happy ref.
The only surprising thing is he didnāt give a yellow to Darwin, when he didnāt think it was a foul and Darwin did his show of anger,
We need to find Macca more in the build up phase so we can better control the game.
