We definitely have issues and should have pressed on. No doubt about it.
From the Chelsea side, they have agency in the game too, and I see a group of players who are much better than their form and position suggests. As I expected, and said before the game, they are showing up today and making it hard for us. Their fans should be upset that they have not done it against many other sides, but today they are up for it.
For example, they are snapping into tackles in that midfield and we canât settle. Tactically they are also getting quite a bit of joy targeting Jones at right back, mostly with Cucurella in an advanced position. Jones is doing well enough for a midfielder at right back, but there are gaps out there that they are exploiting.
