I went to the trouble of posting a meme:

Not too confident this time.

That makes a change.

I don’t care what/who derailed the thread.
I saw ten new posts and thought of injuries etc… you know, football stuff.

Am experiencing a bit of stress myself Matty, so have much more serious things on my mind than threads being derailed with vacuous “humour”…

Hopefully our collective moods are lifted on Wednesday night.

If I see a pile of new posts, I either assume that WWIII has broken out, or korma. I’m usually quite relieved when it’s korma.

Judging by the aftermath of the last derby, WWlll is not an impossibility.

Sympathies to everyone who’s going through a hard time and I too hope that we are all smiling after the match.

Press conference scheduled for Tuesday at 10:00:

April fools day? Surely, some kind of joke?

Edit: date and time are provisional at the moment.

Have a wild feeling Chiesa starts this with Gakpo and Salah.

Jota, Diaz and Nunez on the bench. I have no real idea why, but his cameo vs Newcastle and that bit of time training since have made me think he could be this years Ronnie Rosenthal…Imagine him scoring a couple on Wednesday? The fucking scenes!

Unless there are niggling injuries its MacAllister, Gravenberch and Szoboszlai in midfield. If Gravenberch is out then Curtis to start.
I guess its Quansah at RB…

Arsenal will drop points vs Fulham (hopefully) and Liverpool, refreshed and reinvigorated will beat Everton.
All will be ok with the world.

I don’t think Chiesa starts, but he might get more minutes.

I guess it’ll be Salah, Gakpo and Diaz up top.

Good for Lucho that he added some numbers to his game during the break, might lift his confidence.

I think we need to get the official site to change their font back as it’s been a curse. Even the women haven’t won.

I can imagine the meeting:

‘We’ve had a couple of disappointing results recently, what could the reason be?’

‘Tactics?’

‘Fitness?’

‘Wrong person starting the match thread on TAN?’

‘Most likely that font on the website’

‘Of course! That must be it. Quick, change it to comic sans!’

That is exactly the meeting Hughes, Edwards and Billy Hogan should be having

Transfermarkt had him as doubtful, but perhaps he’s fine

He sent message himself saying he’s fine (see above).
What more do you want?

Things didn’t go too well for us the last time we had a goalkeeper of ours declare he was fine and didn’t have a concussion…

The situations are hardly analogous.

No they’re not, I was trying to add to the shite that passes for humour in these threads. Sadly that was so bad it didn’t even pass.
