While out to dinner over the weekend, a nice young man was our server. He had a distinct English accent…and an even more distinct Merseyside one. I asked him…and he said yes, he was from Liverpool.
Natural reaction from me was “how about the Reds?”. He, politely, replied. “I’m more of a Blue”. I said good on ya, and was looking forward to Wednesday. He was as well. I then kidded him that I should have said I was a Manchester supporter. He deadpanned me and said “I wouldn’t have served you”.

With our last performance against Everton, our last performance against Newcastle and Trent missing, there is one special thing I want to see tonight from our midfield: personality.
And I don’t mean in terms of answering to their possible provocations and end up in trouble because of it. Sure, we have to compete physically, but focus on quality.

A win tonight and the maths becomes narrower. It’s why I’ve said 4 points over the next 2 games.
GD continues to remain the same with a with a narrow win tonight and it currently acts as an extra point.
I think we need to win more for the fact we are on a two game losing streak.
