the game is stopped because Trent is down after being kicked. Klopp is complaining, and the US commentary is ignoring it and talking about it as an argument about a VAR review for the Mahrez penalty claim. Fucking idiots.
Definitely a different feel to the game for the last 10 mins, but even a bad city are too good to expect us to have it all our own way all the game.

The intensity in our play for the first 25 minutes was incredible. I hope we donât pay for it in the 2nd half.

Very impressive half. Probably not quite the chances created the overall balance of play deserved. Will be looking forward to see if we get to see Darwin and Carvalho.

Dominated the first half hour, Man City with the players at their disposal are always going to come back and they did threaten on a few occasions. But we fully deserved the lead at half time. Need more in the 2nd half.

They look poor at the back. They are not playing well. Must take advantage. Adrian playing decent but is prone to a mistake. Canât give Haaland another big chance though. Boys playing well though. Big 45 to go

Agreed. I thought Hendo was playing at an entirely different energy level than any player on the pitch for either side. He was in mid season intensity.

Itâs a well known fact that if we take the piss out of an opposing striker they are more likely to score against us. Iâm sure Kopster can provide statistical evidence to back this up.
Hopefully our stronger bench comes into play soon. Darwin sub when City come looking for the equaliser
