How are you all doing Ubermick? What a blast from the past .
I thought you were gone for good.
From the Caf:
Things I am more confident of than us beating Liverpool tomorrow
And Goldbridge, you might be influential but you’re not THAT influential!
Gorgeous:
The simple reality is we need a left wing back and an elite number 9, if and it’s still a big if we manage to get these two players in within the next 7/10 days, I can see the club making a significant improvement, however this is needed asap.
Amorim really needs the weather to save him tomorrow and hope the game is postponed, he can then continue to work with even more time on the pitch to drill the system.
Dream scenario would be Gykores or Osimhen at CF and Nuno Mendes at LWB with maybe Chillwell on loan too as back up. The PL does not lie and we’ve scored 21 goals in 19 PL games, that’s not just on the players but the coaches too. Amorim had 8 PL games, his team has scored 9 Goals which is not improvement and more concerning is they’ve not scored any goals in 270 minutes and conceded 7 goals to Wolves, Bournemouth and Newcastle?
The table will start looking like the League 1 table or the like, with clubs sitting on 2-3 games in hand.
And us still 9 points ahead of Arsenal, hopefully.
Really hope not.
Well we are only 6 ahead before they play today.
Likely 3 now. Hence why I want us to play this.
Okay then. This means more.
Please, weather, hold up.
Nice one Brighton, now we make it count tomorrow.
Is Konate 50-50 to start or too early?
Based on the press conference, no firm information, but in all probability far too early.
In any case, Quansah needs to step up sooner or later, so this is an excellent opportunity for him. Unless Arne decides to shake things up and play a false centre-back in Endō again…
Hope it is on but slightly more relaxed if it isn’t now.
Quansah did fine on as an extended sub against West Ham… although West Ham offered the sort of attacking threat that would have made it possible for me to play in that position without appearing grossly out of my depth.
I expect him to be solid if needed for a run of games, but obviously Konate’s return will be important as well.
We could see protection around Konate’s right knee in training. It’s understandable if tomorrow comes too early for him to start, but won’t be long now. One of the next two games I guess.
If it’s not, we could see one hell of a fixture pile up.
Unless we were aloud to play some games after the last game of the season. Could you imagine if our final game was the last ever at Goodison Park? In fact, if we were to win the title there, the amount of boiling Evertonian piss could run a power station.
There are 3 gaps potentially two more in those European playoff weeks.
We won’t be playing after the season, it could be the last game.
I don’t want it cancelled but I’m more comfortable knowing the gap.
