The simple reality is we need a left wing back and an elite number 9, if and itās still a big if we manage to get these two players in within the next 7/10 days, I can see the club making a significant improvement, however this is needed asap.
Amorim really needs the weather to save him tomorrow and hope the game is postponed, he can then continue to work with even more time on the pitch to drill the system.
Dream scenario would be Gykores or Osimhen at CF and Nuno Mendes at LWB with maybe Chillwell on loan too as back up. The PL does not lie and weāve scored 21 goals in 19 PL games, thatās not just on the players but the coaches too. Amorim had 8 PL games, his team has scored 9 Goals which is not improvement and more concerning is theyāve not scored any goals in 270 minutes and conceded 7 goals to Wolves, Bournemouth and Newcastle?

Is Konate 50-50 to start or too early?
Based on the press conference, no firm information, but in all probability far too early.
In any case, Quansah needs to step up sooner or later, so this is an excellent opportunity for him. Unless Arne decides to shake things up and play a false centre-back in EndÅ againā¦

Quansah did fine on as an extended sub against West Hamā¦ although West Ham offered the sort of attacking threat that would have made it possible for me to play in that position without appearing grossly out of my depth.
I expect him to be solid if needed for a run of games, but obviously Konateās return will be important as well.

We could see protection around Konateās right knee in training. Itās understandable if tomorrow comes too early for him to start, but wonāt be long now. One of the next two games I guess.
If itās not, we could see one hell of a fixture pile up.
Unless we were aloud to play some games after the last game of the season. Could you imagine if our final game was the last ever at Goodison Park? In fact, if we were to win the title there, the amount of boiling Evertonian piss could run a power station.

There are 3 gaps potentially two more in those European playoff weeks.
We wonāt be playing after the season, it could be the last game.
I donāt want it cancelled but Iām more comfortable knowing the gap.

Arsenal dropping points earlier is massive heading into this one.
If the gap was down to 3 points then there would have been a nervousness surrounding it all which could easily have affected the players too. Now we have the chance to go 8 clear and still have a game in hand. If they somehow spawn a draw weāre no worse off.
