Well we’ve hardly ever smashed them.
I think I remember one when Rafa managed them.
Anyhow Glad they played tonight as it only really gives them a couple of days again. Knowing them at least two will be caught staggering out of a club blind drunk on New Year’s Eve.

Win by a goal or two without breaking any sweat. 3 points is all that matters.
Don’t thrash them. Leave enough life in them, leaving a hope they will turn another corner soon. Let someone else kill them off while we keep our batteries fully charged for the second half of the season.

This one has got the feeling of this match for me:
Same time of the year. At home again. Run-away league leaders again.
It was after that win I think a lot of people finally got over past trauma and started to believe.
Despite all the thrashing we’ve given them over the years, this one is probably the most unforgettable win for me (the 7-0 being a close 2nd 
).
