PreMatch | Liverpool vs Man United | PL Matchday 20 | Sunday January 5th 16:30h

Amorim will get some training time with this bunch over the new year. Shouldn’t be understimating them at all.

I’ve forgotten.

Nah, seriously, every time of course.

So, I’m sitting in our hotel garden listening in on a couple of Man U fans moaning about their team. One of them is hoping for relegation to shake things up.

I’m trying really hard not to guffaw in their faces.

Here’s another good one - best midfielder in the league? Bruno, KdB, “long drop” Odegaard.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Imagine the scenes of having United and Everton in a relegation battle.

Especially with half of both sets of fans hoping for their team to go down.

I would finally get a half and half scarf

3 points.
No injuries.
That’s all I wish for.

Everything else is a bonus.

Especially after Neville offered bounty on Virgil’s bones.

13 wins guarantees us the title.

Don’t see any other team getting beyond 85.

Possible bonuses:

1, Red card for their captain.
2, Anthony comes on as a sub, tackles himself, has to be replaced.
3, Their fans leave en masse at half time in protest.
4, Amorim resigns at the final whistle.
5, Maguire hat trick of own goals.

How is that a bonus?

On the available evidence, we want them to keep him for as long as possible.

Making them sit, watch and admire the beautiful Anfield as we rip them apart is also okay as a bonus

This isn’t theater of dreams, this is your new reality. This is Anfield.

Apologies… got carried away. One game at a time and these are the games where form goes out of window and forest game and all that… 3 points please.

1, The fume.
2, The chaotic scenes as they scrabble around for a replacement before pleading with Fat Sam to save them from relegation.

This will be their biggest game of the season. Any kind of result proves (in their minds) that they are playing for the shirt and the manager. We have to be absolutely clinical here , any showboating could be punished.

After watching that last night though , it’s genuinely hard to see where the improvement comes from. Bruno and Ugarte are back and that will make them stronger and I’ve got a suspicion that Amorim might be thinking this one could be perfect for the return and rehabilitation of St.Marcus.

Seriously though , anything other than three points for the Reds would be a shock on par with Forest.

If there are no immediate offers coming in for Rashford, I suspect he’ll be played by Amorim.

Ugarte and Bruno coming in helps them. There isn’t a doubt about that.

Watched quite a bit of the match yesterday, while United were dire , there were quite some moments where you could see that they could be alright. Those moments were all when they had the ball though. Their off the ball work is as shit as it was with Ten Hag.

Slot’s playbook

  1. Get an early goal
  2. Get another goal
Half time speech - I wasn’t happy with this.
  3. Get another goal

Post match commentary - I thought we were okay but we still lost to forest.

I think this game will be another great opportunity to pad our goal difference.

I know we are already so many points ahead of 2nd place… but it is always good to play it safe.

Let’s win first and then worry about goal difference.

Oliver, Kavanagh, Pawson…

Nothing to see here.

I’m much more confident than last year. Our team is now more composed and patient. Last year, we were too hungry and became too rushed after failing to score in the first 20 minutes.

Just be patient and wait; this United team can’t maintain tension and focus for more than one half – they’ll destroy themselves.
