Please don’t leave us so long, next time. 
If the conditions are so treacherous, maybe it is safer for the match to be postponed. I know it is not ideal from our perspective. We don’t want ours players slipping on the pitch either.

I remember watching matches, when the players were treading through the mud to score goals and their shirts and shorts were so muddy. Those were the days.
