Do not fret @Alright_Now_Legend, I can fly in late tomorrow, and red eye back Sunday night. Do you have me out of Hilton Head or Savannah?
Please act like youâve been there.
We used to go there and play like a completely different team , almost like we were expecting to be turned over and hoping to scrape a point. It used to do my fucking head in !
Are we going to have to watch the weather again for this matchâŚ
I donât know what all these colors mean in English, but the hue doesnât sound great
Supposed to be bad weather Saturday night into Sunday morning
We rarely get snow in Liverpool and when we do it normally turns to sleet or rain so I would be very surprised to see it cancelled.
Even when we were dominant in the 80s United regularly turned us over so no complacency please. A 1-0 win will be just fine although nerve-racking for us fans.
Forecast for sleet, but that shouldnât be a problem with under pitch heating. Probably fairly miserable walking up the Breck Road, though.
Yeah I went up twice in bad snow. One was off and the other on.
If it falls heavy it has to be bad to settle in Liverpool as others have said it usually turns to sleet. Will be cold mind. Travellers maybe an issue but it would have to be badly settled around the ground.
As we all know, bad weather is a great leveller.
Fingers crossed itâs cleared up by kick off.
Before the fleece coats were a thing, I saw a guy in the stands once, with the neck of a hot water bottle sticking out the top of his buttoned-up overcoat.
He had it tied around his neck with a bit of string :0)
Some comedian said he was planning dumping the water, and filling it up with hot bovril at half-time
YeahâŚbut police and local councils usually think about people attending and safetyâŚ
A night match would probably be more of a risk due to freezing conditions setting in⌠Late afternoon, will probably start off cold, and get colder as the game goes on⌠Although, this wonât be noticed by the crowd if we are pummelling the shit tactics of Amorim :0)
Smash 'em, theyâre shit.
Snow will only cancel if it settles heavily. As I said it doesnât usually do so on Merseyside due to the salt from the coast.
It might be a leveller but Man Utd are a different type of team.
As I said, get a win and move on.
Ainât no fuckin leveller. Weâre coming to this game like Omar from The Wire.
I find myself very concerned about this one. The narrative all week has been how invincible and rolling we are and how utterly awful United is.
That lot just might have enough pride left to turn up and put in a shift even if theyâve basically downed tools since Amorim came in and tried to act like he was actually coaching the team instead of just rolling a ball out for them to do what they want.
Curious how Omar fared
