Teams like that are often let down by a critical lack of quality at the back that sees them throw away points their overall performance had earned. They have an England international in goal though, and in Harwood Belis and Bella Cotchap have two CB who are likely to go on to have really nice careers.

They have also had some incredible collapses - around New Year’s I watched most of their game against Brentford. Despite giving up an early goal, I would say they spent most of the first hour with an advantage in play. They ended up losing that match 5-0.
Essentially, I think they have some solid players, can play a decent game, but have very fragile confidence at this point - and don’t really play the kind of defensive game that can grind out results

If not for Salah we don’t tick most of the time in attaching front. Just get him signed guys. Even this game Salah will score and bail us out. one reason we looked so ordinary against PSG as Salah was poor that game
